Organiser

The Bal ULiège is organised by Unisphère ASBL, Place du Vingt-Août 24, 4000 Liège, Belgium (company no. 1034.813.123 · VAT BE 1034.813.123) · bal@uliege.be.

Any ticket purchase, through any channel, and any entry to the Ball imply full acceptance of these terms and of the venue rules.

Buying tickets

Tickets are sold online through Luma, at our ticket desks and, if any are left, at the door on the night. These are the only official channels.

Prices are in euros, all taxes included, as shown at the time of purchase. Each ticket type includes the perks described on the tickets page. Reduced-price tickets are limited and sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Any service fees charged by the ticketing platform are shown before payment.

Your e-ticket, with its QR code, is sent to the email address given at purchase. Check your spam folder; if anything goes wrong, email us. You are responsible for giving a correct address and for keeping your ticket safe.

The organiser may cancel an order in case of fraud, an obvious pricing error or a purchase in breach of these terms.

No right of withdrawal

Under Article VI.53, 12° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to tickets for a leisure event held on a specific date.

Refunds

Tickets cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

If the Ball is cancelled, the ticket price is refunded, excluding the ticketing platform’s service fees to the extent permitted by law. No other compensation is due (travel, accommodation, outfit…).

In case of force majeure or circumstances beyond its control (decision by the authorities, dangerous weather, security threat, venue unavailability…), the organiser may postpone the Ball or change its venue, times or format. If it is postponed, your ticket remains valid for the new date.

Passing on your ticket

Can’t come any more? You may give or resell your ticket to someone else, for no more than its purchase price. Reselling above face value is prohibited by the Belgian law of 30 July 2013.

Each QR code admits one person only: only the first ticket presented is accepted. The organiser accepts no responsibility for tickets bought outside its official channels, and may cancel without refund any ticket resold above its purchase price.

Admission

• The Ball is open to everyone aged 16 and over.
• In accordance with the law, no spirits are served to anyone under 18.
• ID may be requested at the entrance and at the bar; without it, entry or service may be refused.
• There may be a security check at the entrance, including an inspection of bags and clothing by security officers; refusing it means being refused entry. Dangerous objects, illegal substances and outside drinks are not allowed.
• The organiser and its security staff may refuse entry to or remove anyone whose behaviour endangers or disturbs others (violence, harassment, obvious drunkenness, damage…), without refund.
• Harassment of any kind has no place at the Ball. If you experience or witness it, talk to any member of the team or security.
• Each attendee is liable for any damage they cause to the venue, equipment or other people. Attendees under 18 remain under their parents’ responsibility.

On the night

Times, programme, artists, spaces, shuttles and announced services may be adjusted for organisational or safety reasons or reasons beyond the organiser’s control; this does not give rise to a refund.

Liability

Please look after your belongings. Except in case of fraud or gross negligence on its part, the organiser is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal items, including those left at the cloakroom. Lost property is announced on our social media after the night.

Except for bodily injury, fraud or gross negligence, the organiser’s liability is limited to the ticket price. These limits apply to the extent permitted by law.

Photos

The night is photographed and filmed. By attending the Ball, you are informed that atmosphere and group shots may be used by the organiser, free of charge, in its communication and promotional material (website, social media, aftermovie, ads for future editions). How to opt out or ask for removal is explained on the privacy page.

Complaints and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Failing agreement, the courts of Liège have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
